John Weishan: Chris Abele is “engaged in political genocide” against County Board

Keep it classy, County Supervisor John “We’ll have your head on a stick” Weishan…

Milwaukee County Supervisor John Weishan Jr. said Wednesday County Executive Chris Abele “is engaged in political genocide” against the County Board.

“This is a person who is engaged in political genocide,” Weishan said, in support of overriding several Abele vetoes. “He does not believe in your right to exist.”

And here’s a suggestion for Supervisor Weishan….seek help….seriously, seek help. It sure seems like you could use it.

  1. As I stated in one of my Whither MKE County posts, Supervisor Weishan is the enforcer/point person for the county board faction that is in opposition to County Executive Abele. His ‘colorful’ rhetoric is exactly what I’d expect from someone in this role.

    1. Really Ed? You expected someone in Weishan’s role to accuse his opponent of engaging in “political genocide” and also stating that he’d have someone’s head on a stick?

  2. I do think the statements are in the extreme…but given the angst running around the county courthouse I am not surprised,

  3. I’m represented by John Weishan. He gives the impression of being fairly attuned to his constituents, attending neighborhood meetings, parades etc. but his recent conduct looks self-serving and attention seeking. The transit routes through West Allis have recently been decreased and I haven’t heard him raise a squawk about that or anything else that impacts West Allis on a macro level.

Maybe this is the best argument for a reduction in the County Board members.

So the answer for your perceived lack of reprensentation at the county board is to reduce your representation at the county board?

If you don’t like what your supervisor is doing, the correct action is to replace him or her.
