Slow day at the office?

A Marathon County district attorney has charged a 19 year old Weston woman with two counts of felony sexual assault of a child under the age of 13.  The woman is accused, at age ten, of having directed three young children who were in her mothers care to fondle each other. She’s being charged as an adult though her name is not being released because she was ten years old when the crimes were said to have been committed. The woman denies the charges, and one of the alleged victims says he doesn’t remember any such incident.

Each felony count carries a maximum 60 year prison sentence, yet the woman has been released on a $1000.00 signature bond?  A $1000.00 signature bond? Is she a dangerous predator or a shoplifter?

The Marathon County DA’s office has nothing better to do than this?
