Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa said that Mozart was “a gift from God.” Wish the sound was a little better on that recording but that’s what happens if you’re not playing with Ma or Perlman. Thanks PJ!

The quality of the recording doesn’t reflect the calibre of Pahud as a master flautist, true. I could have chosen a better recording for sure. But there was something kind of charming about this one – kind of rough like a scratchy old Caruso record. I hope the recording didn’t detract too much from the performance, and I hope you enjoyed it, Cat Kin.
