A stunning and very alarming report has emerged involving the Duggar family.
According to a recently uncovered police report, Josh Duggar, one of the many stars of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, allegedly molested five girls — some of whom, were reportedly his sisters — starting in 2002. He was around 14 at the time.
Josh, 27, issued a statement to People in response to the allegations: “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”
Shortly after reports he sexually molested juvenile females began to emerge, Josh Duggar resiged as the Executive Director of the Family Research Council, a conservative Christian group founded by James Dobson.

The conduct was not inexcusable as the younger Duggar explains (i.e. excuses) it is criminal. The parents covered up this crime for the benefit of the perpetrator. What about the victims?

Let’s not stray off topic. when he was 14, Josh Duggar molested 4 of his sisters. The youngest was 4. Think about that. 4 years old. Not old enough to tie her shoes. Still rides in a car seat. Has not lost her first tooth. This was not a mistake, as the Duggar camp has stated. This was a crime. The parents attempted to discipline and the abuse continued. That is what most consider a repeat offender. The parents were complicit. It doesn’t matter if you are liberal or conservative. Children were hurt by this person. The parents let this person back into the home where children were hurt again. Being devout does not exempt one from the laws of our land put into place to protect innocent people.
Furthermore, the parents stress openly to the children the importance of remaining pure before marriage, because even a hug or a kiss before vows taint you. I cannot even imagine the torture those girls are feeling as they are lectured about this, knowing that they will never be pure because of what their own brother did to them. They can’t win! Parents say that the girls must forgive, while at same time they must be pure.
It is disgusting.
