Sometimes this actually amazes me. But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just tweeted about Vladimir Putin’s meddling in the 2016 American Presidential elections…something he ignored at the time.
And of course he’s placing the blame on the Obama administration for not acting fast enough or tough enough. And at this point, I don’t care, he can blame Obama on and on and on and on.
Except for the fact the Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell obstructed nearly everything that President Obama proposed and essentially ignored the warnings that were issued about Russian meddling.
So now he’s banging the drum about 2016 and pointing fingers…but he was in charge in 2016 and did nothing.
And as far as I know he’s done absolutely nothing to protect the 2020 American Presidential elections…a campaign season that is well underway. How’s about defending America this time senator? How’s about defending the Constitution as you have sworn to do? You have a president that you can work with…so anything you propose to do to protect the elections should get a ready signature in the Oval Office. Right?
So where’s the outrage that the Trump Regime…has done absolutely nothing since January 2017 to fix the problem? Oh yeah, President Trump told President Putin to not meddle in their photo-op last month. I feel safe now!
btw: here’s what Sen. McConnell had to say about 2018 and 2020 as well. So why has it taken to today…to hear a peep out of him about this…and why is he talking to himself in chambers?
and Senator McConnell? what are you doing about Americans who are creating disinformation sites and articles about candidates in 2020?
Our system of government is broken. The first thing we need to do to fix it is rid ourselves of Mitch McConnell, the most dangerous individual in government today. If I could have only one of two (McConnell thrown to the curb or Trump going down in flames in November, 2020), I’d take losing the turtle any day of the week. Without him, Trump is nothing more than a failed TV game show host.
