Trump said he hopes “they release” the call.

If they continue to allow the president to talk about his conversation with the president of the Ukraine, eventually Donald Trump will blab the whole thing. Unfortunately that will mean nothing to the GOP electeds on Capitol Hill…

But the president has now acknowledged that he did speak to President Volodymyr Zelensky about Hunter and Joe Biden…and their creating corruption in the Ukraine, whatever that means.

While Mr. Trump defended his July phone call with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine as perfectly appropriate, he confirmed that Mr. Biden came up during the discussion and that he accused the former vice president of corruption tied to his son Hunter’s business activities in that former Soviet republic.

“The conversation I had was largely congratulatory, with largely corruption, all of the corruption taking place and largely the fact that we don’t want our people like Vice President Biden and his son creating to the corruption already in the Ukraine,” Mr. Trump told reporters before leaving for a trip to Texas and Ohio.

But surprisingly, the president went even further:

Mr. Trump said on Sunday that he would “love” to release a transcript of the call “but you have to be a little bit shy about doing it.”

And from the Business Insider:

He hopes “they release” the call? I wonder who “they” is? It should be our own Justice Department and the Director of National Intelligence (who is required to release the information to Congress) who should release it. And if the president wants it done, as he just said he did, it should be on the Hill first thing in the morning. Right?

So Mr. President…Make It So!
