Pompeo On Obstruction of Justice?

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is up to his neck in alligators in his part of the drained swamp.

First…he said he had no comment on President Trump’s phone call with the president of the Ukraine because he didn’t know the substance of the call.

And then it turns out he was one of the members of the regime who was actually ON the call…so he has first hand knowledge of the content of the entire call.

And then he is unco-operative with the House inquiry and refuses to allow staff members of the State Department testify or does everything in his power to delay testimony.

And now the House committee chairs are accusing him of intimidating potential witnesses.

“(Pompeo) should immediately cease intimidating Department witnesses in order to protect himself and the president,” the powerful trio wrote in a joint statement. “Any effort to intimidate witnesses or prevent them from talking with Congress — including State Department employees — is illegal and will constitute evidence of obstruction of the impeachment inquiry. ”

Democratic Rep. Eliot Engel (D-Bronx), Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Maryland) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Cal.) noted that Pompeo was reportedly listening in on Trump’s controversial call to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“If true, Pompeo is now a fact witness in the House impeachment inquiry,” the trio wrote.
