You’ve probably heard about the brouhaha around the NPR interview of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo conducted by Mary Louise Kelly. As long as he was deflecting about American foreign policy on Iran he was feeling no pain. But when the topic shifted to the Ukraine and former US Ambassador to the Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, the climate changed…and Mr. Pompeo stormed out…and then called for a private audience with Ms. Kelly…where he ranted and raved for nearly the same amount of time as the ‘interview’.
And during that private audience, this happened:
“He asked if I (Ms. Kelly) could find Ukraine on a map I said, ‘Yes,’ he called out for his aides to bring him a map of the world with no writing, no countries marked. I pointed to Ukraine he put the map away, he said, people will hear about this, and then he turned and said he had things to do, and I thanked him again for his time and left.”
So finally, after two years, Mike Pompeo now knows where the Ukraine is. Ms. Kelly should be thanked for her selfless public service!
Knowing where to find Ukraine simply wasn’t in this idiot’s “Dominion.”
