In 2016, President Obama’s appointee to the Supreme Court couldn’t be confirmed because the ‘people’ were about to elect a new president…so the new president should appoint a new justice because that is the will of the people.
And now we shouldn’t impeach the incumbent president so close to the election because we should let the ‘people’ decide if there was any wrong doing or not.
So using that reasoning, given we are so close to the November election and all of the House, a third of the Senate, and a presidential race is in full swing, Congress should adjourn now and wait until the ‘people’ decide on their new government.
Just sayin’!
I bet there are a lot of people who would not be in prison if no one could call a witness.
