Note To Dems About Early Voting and Debates

I thought it was rather odd that the Nevada Democratic Candidate Debate for President occurred after the Nevada early voting was over. Doesn’t make much sense…some of the candidates didn’t get the bang for their buck.

Take firecracker Senator Elizabeth Warren for example. An email that I received from her campaign said this:

As our Campaign Manager Roger Lau noted, the last debate had a big impact and will continue to — the vote share for Elizabeth went up more than 50% between early vote & those who caucused yesterday.

So to the Democratic Party! Stop undermining our candidates. This happened to be Senator Warren in this case but it could have been anyone on that stage. Either hold local debates before voting actually starts or don’t bother. You aren’t doing anyone a favor.

More on caucuses later.
