Milwaukee County folks, who are you supporting for Milwaukee County Executive and why?
I’ve been following the race – as well as Ed’s excellent content about the race – and I’m curious to know which of the five candidates you all will be supporting and why. Anyone who knows me knows I won’t be supporting Trump supporter Purnima Nath and of the credible candidates left (County Board Chair Theo Lipscomb, State Sen. Chris Larsen, State Rep. David Crowley) I haven’t really decided which candidate will earn my vote.
So tell me who you’re supporting and why – I’m really curious!
I supported Chris Larson when he first ran for the office of State Senator. Among others I canvassed for his election– I was rewarded by his great leadership role in opposing Walker, ACT 10 and the Republican assault of Wisconsin citizens. His Senate experience clearly qualifies him to take on the difficult issues facing the county. He has my support again to address important issues facing Milwaukee County citiaens– poverty, housing, parks, transportation, infrastructure…and getting more equitable share of state funding.
