Congress Passes Emergency Coronavirus Funding.

Congress approved a bill for $8.3 billion in funding for coronavirus prevention and vaccine development and the bill now goes to the White House for the president’s approval.

On Wednesday March 4, 2020, the House passed the bipartisan bill 415 – 2. The no votes were Rep. Andy Biggs (R – Arizona) and Rep. Robert Buck (R- Colorado)

On Thursday, the Senate passed the bill 96 – 1. The no vote was Sen. Rand Paul (R – Kentucky).
