Meanwhile in the red environs of Waukesha County: Menomonee Falls Little League has suspended its season after players and coaches test positive for coronavirus

Menomonee Falls Little League President Kristin Lauer announced the suspension on the league’s Facebook page July 23. She said the suspension will last until at least July 30.

Lauer said players and coaches in multiple divisions tested positive for COVID-19.

The league has contacted players and coaches on a team or who played a team with a positive case. Umpires have also been contacted. Officials from the organization did not say how many players, coaches or umpires tested positive for COVID-19.

emphasis mine

The league is suspended for….a week? Isn’t everything else usually a two week quarantine or at least a negative test or two? Well at least they are doing some form of contact tracing. Sheesh.

And for the curious out there:

There have been 399 coronavirus cases among 10 to 19-year-olds in the county, the fourth highest age bracket of positive tests, according to county data. That is higher than the age groups of 40-49, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89 and 90 and older.
