What I’d like is to open a dialogue with those of you who visit to read the content here on Blogging Blue to find out how you think the blog might be improved. Would you be interested in listening to a podcast? Are vlogs something you’d watch?
What suggestions do you have on how the blog can be improved? Share your thoughts in the comments below, because I’d love to hear what you think.
I would probably not be interested in either a podcast or vlog. I just read things. I’m interested in Wisconsin news first and other news second. Thanks for asking. 🙂
Thanks for your feedback Carol, but I might not have been very clear that my intention was to explore a podcast/vlog that focused on Wisconsin news/politics.
Welcome back Zack! Before I can offer any real suggestions, I have to ask: What is your goal here? What is your intent? Until those specifications are defined, I’d just be nibbling around the edges with suggestions on verb and tone choices and such. So what is your new tenure at Blogging Blue to be? Emotion or reason? Truth or propaganda? Nihilistic or existential?
That being said, no matter the answers to the previous questions, I’d prefer the current format same as Carol. A few more guest authors would be nice. You and Ed do a good job, but I’ve always enjoyed a good Phil Scar post. Perhaps a BB comment of the week/month/year award?
when I first took over I approached about a dozen potential contributors…nobody was interested.
My goal is world domination.
If I can’t accomplish that I’ll settle for fostering a lively discourse/debate and maybe breaking some important stories/educating people about Wisconsin politics.

As a causal reader that shows up very irregularly I’m not one to to say much on this topic, however I initially came here years ago when searching about information on local politicians. When I do visit I like reading the other content, but that’s how I found the blog. There are often a bunch of names on ballots for which I have no idea who to support or who I’d agree with.
I used to ask my brother, but my first vote ever was for Paul Ryan’s first term because that’s who he said to vote for. I know better than to ask him blindly now.
