On one side: 18,000 same sex couples who were married legally in California, fighting to be allowed to keep the same rights as their heterosexual counterparts.

“Fidelity”: Don’t Divorce… from Courage Campaign on Vimeo.
I know as a Christian I’m supposed to find the very notion of a same-sex couple getting married to be abhorrent, but as someone who’s dedicated to the concepts of freedom and equality, I find any attempts to make bigotry the law of the land to be frightening. I don’t view same-sex marriage as an assault on the institution of marriage, and I say that as a proudly married heterosexual man.
Love is love, and the heart wants what the heart wants.
