Several families are likely out tens of thousands of dollars as the result of a private school closure and bankruptcy filing in De Pere. I guess you get what you pay for, or maybe you don’t.

The language immersion seemed kind of interesting but other than that, I don’t see much opportunity for a charter school in De Pere given there are two strong public school districts. Sad for the parents losing money but the banks always get their money out first and that’s what parents should think about when they go all starry-eyed over the buzzwords being fed to them by some highly paid, slick charter-school administrator.
