So first he signs an order that is poorly thought out, not shared with the experts, and extremely poorly executed.
Then a court overturns that executive order and the president goes off on the judge:
“The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned,” Trump tweeted. “When a country is no longer able to say who can and who cannot come in & out, especially for reasons of safety & security – big trouble!”
But then the State Department essentially lifts major portions of the original ban:
The U.S. State Department will allow people with valid visas into the United States, a department official said on Saturday, in order to comply with an opinion from a federal judge in Seattle barring President Donald Trump’s executive action.
“We have reversed the provisional revocation of visas,” the State Department official said in a statement. “Those individuals with visas that were not physically canceled may now travel if the visa is otherwise valid.”
Can presidents change their mind?…yes certainly…that’s a given. But so radically and publically and with such scorn for the departments of his executive branch…and now for our judicial system? Day after day he just proves he is unfit for his office.
