That Bad Plus really instructs us rural types. Of course, we can listen to WAPL during our workday to be inspired by “Comfortably Numb.”
We can go see the Bad Plus (oh no we can’t, because they cost so much money) at Fond du Lac’s Selma, located in the former Freemason Temple, but now “of the people.” The Sadoffs (of which Selma was part of) were and are owners of Badger Liquor, which has played a big part in the city’s alcoholism.
Artistically, Bad Plus is boring, but would really fit into the Selma crowd, if they could only afford them. It’s sad that the idea of Pink Floyd’s original song can be morphed into this.
