Since nobody’s writing anything daily about our truly turbulent times, I’ll just say that I used to like U2 in their earlier years, but don’t now because they seem to represent the next Pepsi commercial.
They’ve become so self-important (like they think they’re their own religion, with three chords), and represent little about America’s political (why should we base our political thinking around people from Ireland, the UK, but not places like Mexico or Somolia?) real viewpoint of views, when you include those that are not obsessed by the mainstream.
Hope 2018 can be a better year, but it will take a unified vision.
