So yeah….about that Rasmussen poll

While the campaign of Republican U.S. Senate candidate is furiously spinning the results of the latest Rasmussen poll on the Wisconsin Senate race as a sure sign that Johnson’s got Sen. Russ Feingold on the ropes, I wouldn’t put too much stock in polling done by Rasmussen. I’ve previously noted Rasmussen’s decidedly Republican leanings when it comes to polling, and as if to cement his status as a truly biased pollster, Rasmussen will be a featured speaker at a post-election Caribbean cruise sponsored by the conservative National Review.

While Ron Johnson may want to use Rasmussen’s poll numbers to boost his lackluster campaign, I’d rather see some polling from a pollster who doesn’t wear his bias towards Republicans on his sleeve.
