  2. I look at Althouse like I look at Jay Leno. She seems to get an enormous amount of comments, etc… BUT she is so immensely boring that I can rarely finish a whole post.

  3. I consider Althouse’s blog a touchstone of sorts. Whenever I begin to forget just how vile conservative commenters can be, a quick visit restores my center of gravity.

    By the way, you commenting on the commenters commenting on the comment policy add a whole new circle to the jerk. Sort of a meta- meta- meta- meta-analysis.

  4. Some speech is freer than others…

    I value all comments made in good faith. Try to understand this concept. It’s not about your point of view or your mode of expression. We love disputes and diversity. But I won’t allow bad faith commenters to leverage their destructiveness on my commitment to free speech.

    So I believe in free speech that I think should be free! I am the Mighty Ann! Worship me!

    It’s good to be the king (or the queen, in this case)!
