As has been reported in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Archbishop Timothy Dolan will be leaving the Milwaukee archdiocese on April 15, at which time he will assume responsibility as the head of the Catholic church in New York. Dolan is likely to be promoted to cardinal in New York, and there’s no word on when a replacement for Dolan in Milwaukee will be named.
Milwaukee’s loss is definitely New York’s gain, and good luck to Archbishop Dolan in New York City.
