  1. Great clip. It lampoons the problem that I have with extremists on both ends of the spectrum that seem to either not be able to read or don’t care to.

I like my Constitution just as it is thankyou very much. To Liberally interpret it, or to conservatively edit it; is to dishonor it.

But I could be wrong, I often am.

  2. This is intriguing to me. The thrust of the clip is that personal viewpoints can cause disagreement on the value of the Amendment. When did it become important how we ‘feel’ about the Bill of Rights?
I see Rich’s point that it lampoons the concept that some would view the Bill of Rights through their own partisan filters. I think he is correct on that. Yet I wonder if the lampooning went far enough. I was left with the impression that it was acceptable to view the Bill of Rights through liberal or conservative eyes.
Maybe I am reading too much into it tonight.

  3. I saw the Red Pen to the document as a symbolic disregard for the document…lampooning those amoung us that act as if our own persoanl views reign sumpreme. Um no, The Constitution is King here. No One has more power nor authority than the Constitution.

But I can admit that I am seeing what I want to see in this clip…
