Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dave Westlake has taken the 9-12 pledge, a fact he’s really really proud of.
The 9-12 pledge includes 9 principles and 12 values, and among those principles is the following:
2. I believe in God and He is the center of my life.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
So here’s what I’m wondering about these two principles…if the 9-12 pledgers believe God is the center of life, shouldn’t they also believe God is the ultimate authority?
Good to see Religion is important to the liberal bloggers!!!
bigboy, conservatives don’t have a monopoly on religion, but you’re missing my point.
