  1. Just because one guy did it doesn’t make it ok. It didn’t work in grade school it shouldn’t work now.

Yes, some expert consultation is prudent. But the expense of full time consulants with no authority should be questioned.

    1. Rich, presidents going all the way back to Truman and Eisenhower have enlisted the help of “czars;” this isn’t a new phenomenon. What is new is the right-wing getting themselves worked into a tizzy about it, simply because the president has a “D” next to his name.

  2. If you think that I am only questioning the President because he’s a Democrat, then I must have done something wrong. Please forgive me for whatever I did to make you feel that way.

The fact is that ANY President that spends and appoints in excess should expect to be called on it. It has nothing to do with his party affiliation.

Or do you deny that he’s setting records in this department?

  3. Bush was such A terrible presidant,Obama follows Bush down the wrong path and now its ok to be immoral? Zack remember all that crap about change in Washington, were is it?

  4. I see the change. I saw it at then Sen Obama’s DNC nomination/acceptance speech. When he said “I am my brother’s keeper.” and everyone cheered. I was like wow, where is THAT in the Constitution? THAT is a huge CHANGE! and he’s trying to implement it now.

However, it is NOT the federal government’s job to take care of everyone. To do so is to effectively re-write the Constitution without an ammendment. And disregarding the Constitution like that is quite shocking to me. Yet…..it’s still Change.

So, yes, I see the change.
