- Menomonee Falls small business owner Todd Kolosso announced his candidacy earlier this week to unseat Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Country Club) in Wisconsin’s fifth Congressional district. While I’ll obviously be rooting for Kolosso, I don’t know that his odds of unseating Rep. Sensenbrenner are that great, given the makeup of the fifth district.
- Scot Ross over at One Wisconsin Now has an interesting tidbit regarding Rep. Paul Ryan’s most recent campaign finance report: Ryan amassed $104,000 in PAC gifts, including 94% from out-of-state PACs. That’s a lot of dough coming to Rep. Ryan’s campaign coffers from out-of-state special interests!
- And some good news from the Green Bay Packers, who have re-signed offensive lineman Mark Tauscher to provide some depth on their offensive line, which has been downright offensive this season. While Tauscher isn’t likely to make an immediate impact on the team, I’m looking forward to seeing number 65 back in the green and gold.
