A thought on Obama’s approval numbers

For all those conservatives who are making a big deal of the fact that President Barack Obama’s approval rating isn’t quite as robust as it was shortly after he was inaugurated, just remember former President Bill Clinton’s first-term approval rating was 50%. What’s more, Clinton’s approval rating at the start of the 1996 election year was just a tick above 40%.

And we all know how President Clinton’s reelection campaign worked out…

  1. I haven’t heard what Obama’s approval rating is…do you have a number?

    I’m disappointed…but not just in Obama…but in all our politicians. I don’t understand how such ethically challenged people can get elected to office. But…then again…many Americans are also ethically challenged so it shouldn’t come as such a surprise to me.
