Dale over at the Reasonable Citizen can’t help but wonder if tying middle class tax cuts to tax cuts for the wealthy is really fair:
A middle class family making $52,224 year had a $1,014 bump when Bush tax cuts were enacted. Enough to buy a washer and a dryer. The top 1% income earners received a $72,872 bump, which is enough to buy a basic XJ Jaguar.
And the Republicans want to make certain that you and I do not buy a washer and dryer if the rich cannot buy a Jaguar.
Who among you think this is only fair?
It pretty much sums it up, doesn’t it?
