Michele Bachmann’s paid NH campaign staff quits en masse

Michele Bachmann's presidential campaign
According to James Pindell of WMUR in New Hampshire, the paid staffers for Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann’s presidential campaign have quit the campaign en masse as a protest of Bachmann’s lack of commitment in New Hampshire

Bachmann’s presidential campaign has been struggling for survival since winning the Republican Ames Straw Poll earlier this year, no doubt due to the entrance of Texas Gov. Rick Perrry into the race, as well as Herman Cain’s rise in the polls over the last month. Just a little over a month ago her campaign manager and deputy campaign manager both left her presidential campaign, so this latest round of defections certainly can’t be a good sign for Bachmann’s presidential campaign.

To be honest, I’ll be shocked if Michele Bachmann makes it to New Hampshire, even if she does somehow manage to pull out a win in the Iowa Caucuses, a prospect that is appearing less and less likely with each passing day.

  1. This is not good. We need to keep her in the contest until it is too late for her to try to win her house seat back.

  2. Rich- You’re implying she’ll lower herself to running again. She’ll go the Palin route to get on Fox News and get paid. Much like what Walker will do once he’s bounced in a little over 6 months.
