Outing the goons.

Adele M. Stan and Steven Rosenfeld have a great piece today on AlterNet detailing the efforts of various cyber-goons to poison the recall drive against Scott Walker.   The best part of the piece is at the very end where you’ll find directions on how to help unmask the identity of those involved.

Stan and Rosenfeld assert that a request from a district attorney to Facebook or Go Daddy to investigate sites for possible violation of Wisconsin election law could result in revelations of who is behind the attacks. Nice!

So read the entire article and then call your local district attorney with a detailed complaint. Let’s show these cowardly goons that it’s a big mistake to blindly follow a man whose brain is on Koch.

A Thorp woman expressed her anger towards local recall efforts by tearing up a recall sign.

According to the Chippewa Falls Police, Mary Jean Dezurik, 68, parked her white minivan by a group of recall volunteers shortly before 10 a.m. at the intersection of N. Bridge and W. River streets in Chippewa Falls.

After stopping, witnesses said she grabbed one of the signs, tore it up, threw it on the ground and drove away.

Witnesses got Dezurik’s license plate number and called the police department.

Chippewa Falls Officer Brian Zwiefelhofer apprehended Dezurik at W. Central and Bay streets, and arrested her for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
