Scott Walker is the 2011 Governor of the year! Yoo hoo! He won the award from Governors Journal, which is an online publication that launched roughly one year ago today. And it’s published by people that refer to themselves as…….. GoJo. No joke.
There’s an old saying in the north woods of Wisconsin. You can beer batter a turd and deep fry it but that don’t make it a fish stick.
There is much more to be said about GoJo. Dean Pagani, the managing editor of (and possibly only real person behind) GoJo, was the spokesman of and troubleshooter for Connecticut’s former Governor Rowland. Rowland resigned the governorship in 2004 amid a corruption investigation. He eventually plead guilty in federal court to charges stemming from that investigation. Rowland was also a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) during his years as a Connecticut State Representative. I’m sure we all will find many more dubious connections in Dean Pagani’s history as it is explored.
Good info. Keep us updated.
