Conservative Wet Dream

Zach managed to get in a recap of the Eastwood speech before I could post. But in the spirit of doubling down, here’s my take anyway.

A conservative wet dream came true Thursday night at the Republican National Convention. A packed convention hall of victims and fat white boys got to see shoot’em up hero Clint Eastwood give a rambling and confusing speech in which he appeared to be having a conversation with President Obama. Eastwood’s entrance was serenaded by calls of “Make my day,” an allusion to his famous line from the film “Sudden Impact,” in which he dares a black bank robber to reach for his own gun and attempt to shoot Eastwood.

Thankfully, guns were not allowed in the convention hall, otherwise a national audience might have had the thrill of watching hundreds of white sissy boys whipping out their guns and shooting holes in the ceiling in tribute, or at that one black guy standing in their midst.
