Jessie Read for Waukesha County Clerk

One year ago today, I interviewed Jessie Read, Democratic candidate for Waukesha County Clerk (click here to read the interview). I remember feeling downright giddy at the possibility of trading in Kathy Nickolaus for a county clerk who was competent and trustworthy. And I’m not the only one; Waukesha County residents, both Democrat and Republican, have waited for what feels like an eternity for a chance to restore integrity to the office of the Waukesha County Clerk.

The wait is finally over.

Jessie Read:

Go, Jessie Read, go!

    1. Jessie, all candidates deserve amplification, regardless of how much money they have to spend on their campaigns (I like to kick it old-school).

Hopefully, you’ll get The Blogging Blue Bump. 🙂

  1. We can probably assume that Read is a union totty because he chooses to put the d behind his name. Voters beware, union halls are supporting him therefore we should not since the unions do NOT support the taxpayers well being

      1. Another, “high,” information voter. I’ve got a very nice, union made totty, to carry my garden tools in.

  2. Thanks for the good news Lisa, voters around the state should be thrilled.

I didn’t however appreciate the auto run feature of the audio/video clip which woke several people early as my volumne was up from the prior day’s use. I had simply clicked my BB home page bookmark to see today’s offerings and had headed to the kitchen to pour my coffee when the unexpected and not immediately found source of the clip began. Too old for surprises like that anymore. Cheers. Best of luck to us all down-ticket tomorrow.

    1. Nonquixote, I apologize for the auto run; that wasn’t my intent. Next time I’ll be more careful with the videos I use. 🙂
