One wonders if the so-called Motor City Madman, Ted Nugent, knows that the only major newspaper in America that will give him guest editorial status, the Washington Times, was founded by the Reverend Sun Myung Moon?

Wasn’t Nugent supposed to leave the country or die in some unexplained manner if Obama won re-election? I’m waiting, Ted.
Lets see which would be worse writing for a newspaper that was founded by a kook, or a kook who was a Grand Kleegle in the KKK and a Democratic icon?
Peter,
Here’s a snippet from Robert Byrd’s autobiography:
In his last autobiography, Byrd explained that he was a KKK member because he “was sorely afflicted with tunnel vision—a jejune and immature outlook—seeing only what I wanted to see because I thought the Klan could provide an outlet for my talents and ambitions.”[22] Byrd also said, in 2005, “I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times … and I don’t mind apologizing over and over again. I can’t erase what happened.”[10]
If only your beloved Motor City Moonie could demonstrate a similar remorse and make a public apology for literally shitting his pants to avoid serving in Vietnam.

…Or a Republican office holder in the south who was a leader of the American Nazi party…
