So here’s the turnout for the first public hearing on the recommended Milwaukee County budget, held at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
As you can see, it’s a pretty packed house for the hearing, but I can’t help but wonder about the timing of the hearing. After all, while the recommended County budget is important, there’s kind of a big event happening tomorrow here in Wisconsin, and I look at all the folks in attendance at that budget hearing and think that all those folks could be out knocking on doors or making phone calls to get out the vote, instead of sitting at the Art Museum for a budget hearing.
