While driving home on Friday, a message on one of the electronic billboards in town caught my eye. It said (this is as paraphrase), thanks to our elected officials for approving the Bucks arena deal. Then it switched to another ad and I didn’t catch the sponsor.
Now those ads can’t be inexpensive…and if whoever paid for that ad…had instead opened their wallet for the actual arena deal…well maybe we’d all be better off (except for the billboard company perhaps).
As I’ve posted before, if local business people actually thought the Bucks arena was a good deal for local business, they would have put their money where their mouth is.
Taxpayers were sold out by the state. Realtors, MMAC and the billionaires bought everyone off.
