It goes without saying that politicians from both parties pander to win votes. However, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has taken pandering by politicians to a new low, as she spurned her alma mater Stanford University to take to Twitter to root for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes in the Rose Bowl.

Predictably Fiorina’s pandering backfired, as Stanford beat Iowa in the Rose Bowl.
