The use of the robot and explosives package is pretty startling.
I suppose one could logically ask, how is that different than a police sniper having a clean shot on the active shooter, and taking the shot to preserve the life of innocents?
I think the increasing use of mechanized warfare-type tactics by law enforcement, no doubt with drones included (unless there is some sort of Federal regulation on this I’m unaware of), is going to lead to some very tricky ethical decisions.
