After taking some serious hits to his campaign on Tuesday, Senator Bernie Sanders is attending to business in Washington…as he should. And of course the media had to pester him about his thoughts on continuing the campaign.
Sen. Bernie Sanders didn’t hold back when he was asked Wednesday about when he would make a final decision on whether to suspend his 2020 presidential campaign.
“I’m dealing with a f—ing global crisis,” Sanders told CNN’s Manu Raju. “Right now, I’m trying to do my best to make sure that we don’t have an economic meltdown and that people don’t die. Is that enough for you to keep me busy for today?”
Good for you Sen. Sanders. Even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has finally accepted that the Senate needs to stay in Washington until they pass all the necessary bills to keep the United States safer and sounder in the face of the pandemic. Get the job done!
