U of WI Big Ten Football: Second Game Canceled As A Result of Positive Cases Among Players

So, once again, it’s seems to have been folly to hold the 2020 Big Ten Football season. Considering professional athletes couldn’t keep themselves safe with millions of their own dollars on the line, why would we expect young student athletes to be more successful?

Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst and his players will be idle for the second consecutive weekend because of high COVID-19 cases within the football program.

UW officials announced Tuesday the Badgers’ Big Ten game set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday against visiting Purdue has been canceled.

UW’s second scheduled game, last week at Nebraska, also was canceled.

Don’t worry, we are turning the corner…well at least it seems like that when you are running around in circles.
