Cheryl Wheeler wrote this song after the Jonesboro Arkansas school shooting in 1998. The Columbine massacre would occur about a year later. Here we are, 23 years later, and occasional mass shootings are just a part of normal American life. Robin Vos says there’s nothing that can be done about it. How about an assault weapons and high capacity magazine ban? It certainly couldn’t make things any worse.
