Watch Chicago radio personality Eric “Mancow” Muller get waterboarded:
Now keep in mind Mancow has previously said on his show that he didn’t believe waterboarding was torture. It’s funny how one’s opinion changes once they’ve experienced waterboarding.
H/T to James Rowen.
It’s funny how so many conservatives’ positions change on so many issues when they’ve had personal experience with it (gays, abortion, immigration, health care access – that’s just all from conservatives I know and consider friends).
It’s that whole Randian inability to empathize. In that self-centered universe, unless it’s happened directly to you it doesn’t matter.
Good point, JCG.
