That’s a good question!

Scott Feldstein has a great question about the government-run health care bogeyman:

You hear a lot of Republican congresscritters claiming that “government run” health care is the worst thing that could ever happen, right? Why won’t someone in the media ask them why they are so unhappy with their own health care? After all, each and every one of them has “government health care.”

Seeing as how they think the idea of government-provided universal health care is the worst thing ever, I expect we’ll see a lot of Republican lawmakers in Washington (and even here in our own state) give up their government-provided health care and get their own private health insurance.

Or maybe we won’t, because they’re not stupid enough to look a gift horse in the mouth. Either way, these lawmakers who rail against government-provided health care while enjoying the coverage that their government-provided health care affords them are all a bunch of hypocrites.
