  1. I don’t think there was anything “deer in the headlights”, about that piece Zach. Palin was obviously on a satellite feed from Alaska. Her solution given was just one of many solutions that May,or May not work. We still don’t know what caused the problem it might turn out to not be BP’s fault. In fact it could ultimately be the fault of the Govt. Oversight body. After all has any Govt. body recently caused any “disasters”? Like …Say for instance Freddie mac and Fannie Mae who screwed up the Housing industry and caused over-inflation of housing and thus the “Reality” Bubble.

One answer to “Fix” the problem is not threaten to put your Boot on the neck..to demand a 20 billion dollar slush fund..to destroy the stock value by wiping out a years worth of dividends. Nor is it very wise to punish the people of Brittain who rely on those dividends for a large part of their wealth.

Never send a “Community Organizer” to do a job…any Job C.O.’s specialize in Protests, whining and the blame game..not in fixing things.

PS Sarah Palin is far more valuable as the retired Governor of Alaska, than she would’ve been had she stayed until her term ended. I wasn’t a fan of her choice at first, But I did think she could parlay the decision into a national profile..and she has done that extremely well!

  2. About Norway:

    From Monday’s Washington Post:

“In late May, the administration accepted Mexico’s offer of two skimmers and 13,779 feet of boom; a Dutch offer of three sets of Koseq sweeping arms, which attach to the sides of ships and gather oil; and eight skimming systems offered by Norway.”

About Sarah Palin – The Half term Governor of Alaska has done extremely well – for herself. She’s a laugh a minute that commands big speaking fees for trite and cutesy comments…
