State Rep. Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford), the ranking member of the Assembly Committee on Personal Privacy (but apparently no expert on Wisconsin’s privacy laws) issued a press release yesterday attacking both Sen. Russ Feingold and Gov. Jim Doyle after it was revealed by Lisa Kaiser of the Shepherd Express that 5 employees of PACUR, the company owned by Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ron Johnson, receive BadgerCare health insurance through the State of Wisconsin.
In his press release, Rep. Suder alleges more than once that Gov. Doyle may have broken the law in an attempt to disparage Ron Johnson and help Sen. Feingold, but there’s just one big problem with Rep. Suder’s allegation: it’s simply not true. A very quick internet search (oh, how I love the Google) shows that information on how many BadgerCare recipients employers have on their payrolls isn’t “legally protected;” it’s available on the internet for anyone to download.
As ranking member of the State Assembly’s Committee on Personal Privacy, Rep. Suder might want to bone up on Wisconsin’s privacy laws and their practical application, lest he make himself look like a horse’s hind end as he rushes to defend Ron Johnson.
You expect the law makers to know the law??? they have talking points, what else do they need?
These charts (by County) show that all numbers dropped between August and September. That patient verification thing they did seemed to drop quite a few. Interesting.
I wonder what the total number was.
BTW Suder is really unappealing. It’s not unusual for him to be really smug and snarky in public. Like debates or candidate forums, he doesn’t always feel it necessary to pour on the charm (that is being generous). It’s always amazing that no other Republican has tried to challenge him.
If anything involves just being pissy, Suder is all over it. but His intrinsic laziness will mean – no fact checking.
Suder KNOWS…..
Did he join the State Assembly’s Committee on Personal Privacy before or after he loaned out his checkbook to his pelvic affiliate of the moment?
pelvic affiliate of the moment
LOL
very nice, also – very very icky O_o
I mean, how COULD they?
I’m not exactly sure what you mean about “how COULD they” but I am pretty sure you are engaging in the politics of personal destruction that the Clintons are always railing against.
Well, I admire some things about Bill, and regardless, he has a formidable intellect. So that’s certainly something deserving recognition, even if you don’t admire what he does with it.
But if that’s actually a Clintonian phrase you referred to there (I was doing Hard Time during that Administration. So was Bill now that I think about but you probably don’t want to hear that, cuz it’s pretty “classy”) But anyway – a phrase like that just makes me feel like I should make a few dozen Lewinsky jokes.
Annie, this is kind of off-topic, but if you get a chance, pick up a copy of John D. Gartner’s “In Search of Bill Clinton: A Psychological Biography”
It’s a good read.
do you have a few dozen lewinski jokes??i couldnt get past 3-4 ….how long ago was that?
ZING!!!
AND! Let’s all meditate for a moment that he found that to be a flattering and press-worthy photo. The image he CHOOSES to project. IMO it speaks volumes.
I should be nicer, considering his two-year-old had obviously decided to “Play Barber” while Daddy was napping on the couch, but still…that is ONE snotty disreputable-looking smirk. If he thinks it looks like a charmingly lop-sided and boyish grin, omg guess again.
Wow, attacking someone’s physical appearance. That’s REAL classy!!! Not to mention mature. Please note my disgust and sarcasm. That’s low Annie.
*attacking someone’s physical appearance – Daily 🙂
*That’s REAL classy – NEVER!
*Not to mention mature – even less likely to occur
*Please note my disgust and sarcasm – ‘kay. Thanks
*That’s low Annie – O Baby, U No It. Hopefully no one on this blog will ever rhetorically say “how LOW can you go”….
p.s. As an added kicker I’m really nasty-looking myself. I’m serious. The Old Mare just ain’t what she used to be. So it’s totally a “who does she think she IS” situation. That makes it even more heinous.
LOL
I’ll be sure to ignore your comments from now on since you are so superficial. I like to engage in deeper conversations. If you are as hideous as you say, maybe you should post your picture then so others here can take their pot shots at you. Even if you did, I would prefer to battle you in the arena of ideas, not the mirror. It must be sad to be you if all you have is to rip on people’s physical appearances on a daily basis. How shallow.
Zach, I am surprised that you would LOL at this and condone such behavior. I guess attacking someone’s physical characteristics or deficiencies is only ok when it is someone you dislike. I’d still back you up if and when the jerks attack you or your family on a personal basis, but don’t be hypocritical in this way.
Oh please, a photo doesn’t speak volumes about anything. Comments here should be about ideas and points of view, not how someone looks or their haircut. Really.
FWIW, I don’t think the photo I’ve got up with the post is *that* bad.
Grumps that made me laugh also.
Annie is this pic any better?

What. You mean that photo of Suter looking like a sex offender during his “Wallbanger” days??
Sorry, I don’t see anything wrong with that. You’re just being mean. Which I condemn.
You shallow jerks go ahead and rip his haircut. Regardless of what you think of his politics, at least he made a sacrifice to defend this country for jerks like you.
