So I got a call on Friday that apparently I signed the Recall Hansen sheet. While I don’t live in his district, they told me the exact page and everything where you can check the recall sheets online, it wasn’t even my hand writing. I’m just wondering how many others ran into something similar.
The sad thing about this is I think if the Recall Hansen group made sure they were verifying legitimate signatures, they wouldn’t run into such issues like this now. I sincerely believe a lot of those are legit signatures, and I don’t mind people signing for what they believe in – that’s their right. I just think the recalls against the democrats were extremely sloppy because money was put into the mix and we’re beginning to see that now.
Where is this link we can see who signed? There was money in it on both sides so that is not a real issue and finally here is a GREAT site to see how the recount is going, and to think she is only spend $1,000,000 of tax payer dollars this time, its one of the cheaper democrat waste of taxpayer dollars. http://www.kloppenburgometer.com/
I prefer not to have stalkers or creepers, NotaLib. I had a fair share of them in my time so I will not reveal my name or address. However, it is on the Government Accountability Board. All of the recall petitions are on there to read.
Despite this though, I am not asking for anyone to throw out your petitions for a few signatures. Heck, even if half of the signatures are not legit I would not suggest to throw it out because they are still legit.
What I am trying to say is there was no money being paid for the canvassers the Cowles Recall effort, they were working for free. While there was money going into the commercials on both sides, they were not going for the canvassers like in the Hansen recall who were getting 50 cents a signature.
Oh I was not asking for your info T, I understated how important anonymity is on sites like this. Do you know how many people actually got paid for the Hansen recall if any?
I know a lot of them actually were paid, but most of them are actually fairly honest if you ask them about it if they are getting paid for 50 cents a signature. Those people to me were not really politically savvy just wanted to get some extra money as a second job, but otherwise good and honest people.
However, there were definitely people who I approached and they seemed nervous like they didn’t want to be discovered and said “this is to keep Obama in office.” until I asked to look at it. Since there were two Dave Hansen Groups, I think this is why there are conflicting stories.
Usually, if you ask them they’re forward and say “I am paid 50 cents a signature.” and those are usually the locals. The ones I noticed and that worried me are the ones who get nervous and downright threatening if you ask them questions.
Furthermore, I know one of the groups is being funded by a man who just takes advantage of the conservative movement in Utah, often asking for donations to conservative groups but ending up in taking the money for himself. He’s a guy who shouldn’t be trusted by either conservatives or liberals. His name is Dan Baltes, real name Daniel Arthur Elliott. I suggest you look him up because it is noted amongst conservatives, he is not a good person and is a crook.
I don’t think the one that Dave Vanderleest is running is the one that is shifty, even if I remember he said he was going to start paying people 50 cents a signature at the halfway mark. (Which there is actually nothing illegal about it despite the hooplah about it.) I think the one that is being run by Dan Baltes is crooked.
Here are some men to watch out for.
It explains who he is and Zach actually posted about him A bit back. And the blog is here.
The man is not to be trusted as I said before and as much as I disagree with your side of the spectrum I do not want your side to get conned into something you believe in so another can make a profit.
sigh..so counting votes is a waste of taxpayer dollars now? and at this point it is not even “counting” them, many wards are just running the votes thru the same machines they used the first time so its more like half counting them…and btw the first spreadsheet the gab reported had to be taken down because of several non sensical numbers the gab contributed to human error..so hopefully ur cost o meter doesnt charge jk for the sloppy work of the gab
i have really only been able to keep up with wauksheas chain of custody or total lack of it but we have seen a bag from brookline with the wrong number on bag,2 bags from city of delafeild 1 label crossed out and written ovr,and town of delafeild brought 3 bags but only had 2 on inspectors list..there are more problems that i have heard that havent been reported to public yet so stay tuned
on election night the ap reported 3630 units..how does the counto thing get to 3593 units?
Nota,
Speaking of a waste of taxpayer dollars, what will be the cost of a totally unnecessary Voter ID bill? Any idea? Let me help you out.

Defend the taxpayers Nota! Call your state reps and tell them to stop this blatantly partisan attempt at voter suppression in Wisconsin. It’s a disgrace, and a mighty costly one at that.
100% in support of voter id, one Wisconsin now is a extreme liberal site and not trustworthy.
Notalib, I’d love to see your evidence of widespread voter fraud that necessitates the need for Voter ID laws.
I would Support Voter ID law if it stopped things like this from happening. And make it by law you have to register to vote in Wisconsin and are a legal citizen. No exceptions.
Chances are though, the conservatives don’t have that in mind.
I don’t think I ever said there was wide spread voter fraud. But even though I am 55 if I buy alcohol I have to show proof, I want a loan I need to provide proof, I want a driver license, I need proof who I am, passport…..better have proof, a library card …I have proof to show who I am,but I want to vote…give them a name and I get to vote!
Recently an acquaintance of mine, a member of the Democratic Party, was very taken aback when I told him that as a progressive democrat I often felt I was fighting two political parties instead of one. The circumstances at the time didn’t allow for elaboration of my remarks, so I thought I’d offer one here.
He and I agree that the Republican Party doesn’t represent the interests of the American people, as was so ably demonstrated by Congressman Sean Duffy at his recent town hall meeting in Shell Lake. Duffy wants to deliver future generations of senior citizens into the hands of private health insurance companies, ( which hire experts to deny your claims), rather than exploring any and all options to preserve Medicare, a publicly run program, as it is. This is especially troubling when you consider that during the health care reform debate of the last two years a CBS/New York Times poll found that 49% of the American people favored a comprehensive national health insurance plan like Medicare. It’s a real shame that Duffy cares more about profits for his corporate backers than he does for you and your health, but that’s just the way it is.
However, even with heavy Democratic Party control of Congress, and President Obama in the White House, advocates of Medicare for All couldn’t even get a seat at the health care reform debate table. In fact, Max Baucus, democratic senator from Montana and the point man for health care reform, had members of Physicans for a National Health Program arrested at his finance committee hearing simply because they demanded to be heard. While the bill Baucus helped guide to final passage, The Affordable Care Act, does reign in the worst excesses of America’s health insurance companies, it still delivers most of the American people into the hands of those same companies, which is what industry insider and whistleblower Wendell Potter claims they wanted all along. It’s a real shame that Max Baucus also cares more about profits for his corporate backers than he does for you and your health, but that’s just the way it i
So my remark to my acquaintance isn’t really all that hard to understand, if you have a nose for the obvious. But if your mind has overheated from a combination of loyalist partisan rhetoric, and a feverish zeal, the obvious can quickly fade from view.
