Sorry I didn’t know Ben Masel. It’s unfortunate that we acknowledge the courage, sacrifice and leadership of great individuals so late in their lives. Go to yesterday’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to read of John Gilman’s life. He was a Milwaukee citizen who fought for peace, equality and justice at all levels. He will also be missed.
