At this evening’s Democratic Party of Milwaukee County monthly meeting, Peter Blewett, who was voluntarily redistricted out of his Milwaukee School Board Seat, announced his candidacy for Milwaukee County Supervisor from the 5th District.
It looks like this seat that is being vacated by the retiring Lee Holloway is getting rather crowded. The candidates I have been able to identify so far are:
Cavalier Chevy Johnson, who ran for County Supervisor in the 10th District last spring and lost in the primary for the seat eventually won by Eyon Biddle.
Russell Stamper II, son of Milwaukee Reserve Judge Russell Stamper.
Muhammad Mahdi, a volunteer at the Clara Mohammad School.
