If you’ll read the comment thread following Sikora’s original status update, you’ll see that he defends his original statement multiple times, so it seems pretty clear that Penny Sikora doesn’t place much value on the life of the family dog or cat.
Remember folks…Penny Sikora was the preferred candidate of County Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic in the race to succeed outgoing (and now indicted) County Supervisor Johnny Thomas in the 18th supervisory district.
Thank you for posting this. I think anyone who goes out of his/her way to SAY (with no shame) animal abuse is no big deal needs a reality check…and other people reading his words just might be the way to give it to him.
And…what is wrong with MD?
I’m not sure why MD decided to throw her weight behind Sikora (though I have my suspicions), but after this comment he should be done as a viable candidate. There’s absolutely no room for folks who believe animal abuse is A-Okay in positions where they could impact policy.
He also dismissed the indictments against Thomas as “showboating” before wisely taking that post down.
I’m surprised there aren’t more comment condemning Penny’s feeling towards animal abuse.
They are all too busy defending Planned Parenthood’s right to funding for killing babies.
Penny is NOT ok with animal abuse. What I believe he is saying is that our jails are already over crowded, and we have bigger fish to fry. Pun not intented. We need to focus on PEOPLE, and help them rise up from bad situations.
Didn’t know I was defending animal abuse I thought I was saying it doesn’t warrant jail time I guess I was wrong about what I was thinking SMH!
And Crosspoint don’t start lying on me I never dismissed John Thomas’s indictments nor did I erase any posts, just because I’ve said some things you don agree with, don’t make stuff
