Mitt Romney’s record of broken promises

As the 2012 presidential campaign has unfolded, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has made a lot of promises about how he’ll fix our nation’s economy, create jobs, balance our budget, and lower taxes. On face value, Romney’s promises seem really great, until you take a trip in the “Wayback Machine” to 2002, when Romney was running for governor of Massachusetts. Back then, Romney made many of the same promises, but once elected he failed to deliver on those promises.

As I’ve written elsewhere, Mitt Romney is an empty suit with no real foundational beliefs, and he’ll say or do anything to get elected.
